Penelope's Light Products

What ingredients do you use?
We use high quality natural ingredients of soy-wax, beeswax, fragrance oil or therapeutic grade essential oils, cotton wick and glass jars. All of our fragrance oils are phthalate, paraben, lead, dyes, and BPA free. Our essential oils are carefully selected from the purest suppliers, and our proprietary soy/beeswax are from sustainably sourced farms.

Are your candles vegan?
Our candles are made from the highest quality ingredients and are sustainably sourced, but beeswax is the only ingredient that is not vegan.

What is the best way to care for your products?
We love it when our customers care for their candles well! You can find instructions for caring for your candle on our Candle Care & Safety page.

Can your jars be recycled?
Yes! We are passionate about being kind to the earth and have included fun ideas on how you can reuse your jars on our Candle Care & Safety page.

Can I use the Penelope’s Light products around my pet?
Our products are formulated to be generally safe to use in households shared with pets. We do not test our products on animals and we always recommend using them as directed on the warning labels. Keep your Penelope’s Light products out of reach from pets (and Children too!). If you have questions or concerns, consult with your veterinarian for best advice regarding your furry friend.

Can I use Penelope’s Light products while pregnant, nursing, or around children?
We are intentional about using high quality ingredients and products that we would use around our families too. Like all products, keep them out of the reach of children and pets. If you have any concerns, consult with your physician or healthcare professional prior to using.

Orders

Can I change/ cancel my order?
Please see our Shipping & Returns for our process and contact details. Once the order has shipped we are not able to change or cancel your order.

Can I send my order as a gift?
Yes! To send an order as a gift, add the recipient's name and mailing address to the “Ship to” area at checkout. Add your information in the Billing area. Please add a note at the end of the checkout process that this order is a gift so we know to not include a receipt in the package.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! We offer gift cards. You’ll find them within the shop. You can select the amount you want when you select the gift card option.

Where do I use my coupon code?
At checkout there is a box below the list of products in your cart to add a coupon code.

Do you offer bulk ordering?
Yes, we are happy to work with you on a bulk order. Please contact us 8-12 weeks before your event for custom order quantities if you are looking to order 50 or more candles at a time.

Shipping

Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all 50 states within the United States.

Do you ship internationally?
We do not currently ship internationally.

How long will it take to get my order?
All orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number that will give you additional details on the package arrival estimate.

How do I track my order?
After we print a shipping label for your order, you’ll receive an email with the tracking number within 48 hours.

I’m local. Can I pick up my order in-person?
Yes! During the checkout process for your order, you can select to pick up locally. Orders that are being picked up locally are ready for pickup the same day.

COVID precautions for local order pickup?
Most pick-up orders are done without contact. I have a pickup box outside my door, so that you can come at your convenience once your order is ready.

What if my order was damaged in transit?
We are so sorry you received your package damaged. Please see our Shipping & Returns for our process and contact details.

My order is marked as delivered, but I’m not finding it.
That is disappointing! Please see our Shipping & Returns for our process and contact details.

Returns

Can I return or exchange my Penelope’s Light product?
If you are not satisfied with one of your Penelope’s Light candles, you can return an unused product within 7 days of your purchase. Please see our Shipping & Returns for our process and contact details.
